Gentle Jack is a legendary Nollywood actor, director, producer, television personality, bodybuilder, and philanthropist who has made a name for himself in the industry. Mr. Abonnema was born on November 20, 1970, in the Kalabari Kingdom of Rivers State, which is in the southernmost section of Nigeria’s south-south region. He is 50 years old at the time of this writing. Vuga is his stage name, and he is well-known throughout the world. He is originally from the village of Abonnema in the Kalabari Kingdom of Rivers State, Nigeria.

Gentle Jack first gained national attention in 1998, when he co-starred in the Nollywood hit film “Vuga” with Genevieve Nnaji. Since then, he’s been in a number of Nollywood films as a supporting actor. Gentle Jack has received a number of film accolades, including the Africa Movie Academy Award for Most Prominent Actor in Nigeria. The City People Entertainment Awards recognized him as Best Actor of the Year, and the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards recognized him as Best Actor in a Leading Role.
