Why don’t I have Facebook Marketplace – The free social media platform Facebook Marketplace allows users to list, sell and buy goods and trade with others in their region.
Marketplace gives consumers everything, whether it’s house furniture, drive a car, or a piece of real property for purchase on the market. Furthermore, it’s a breeze.
But not every user of Facebook has market access, which can be frustrating to ask why they lack the current consumer trend.
Why you may not have access to Facebook Marketplace
There may be several reasons why it doesn’t appear on your Facebook if you don’t have the marketplace.
You’re not in a region where Marketplace is available
The store is currently available in over 70 countries for Facebook members, however, your country still has no access.
You will not display the Marketplace icon (looks like the shopfront) in the iOS app, or the Marketplace bookmark in the left-hand menu on your Desktop if you set your Facebook Profile Region to a nation where the Marketplace is not yet available.
Visit Facebook’s Marketplace directory to get the list of countries where the marketplace is available.
You’re not at least 18 years old
Facebook users who are 18 years and older are only available on the market.
You’re new to FB
Users new to the Facebook Marketplace are usually not given access immediately
This is because Facebook wants to reduce prospective scammers who often remove and re-create profiles for the sale of manufactured products after the ban.
You don’t use store enough for the icon to appear
For its menus, FB uses algorithms meaning that the groups, sites, or applications you use within the site are generally listed above on the left-hand menu bar and the accessed menu by pressing the three horizontal lines below the right side of the iOS app.

If you rarely use Marketplace, it may be replaced by another feature you are using the most frequently and you will not see it straight from the menu.
You may have listed something that goes against Facebooks policy
To see if anything contrary to the community policy of Facebook Marketplace was included, review the policies of Facebook. Go to Request Review > Marketplace, then.
How to access FB Marketplace if you don’t have it
However, when it doesn’t appear, there are other ways to try to access the marketplace.
If you cant see the Marketplace icon in your home menu
You can access the marketplace directly by typing https://www.facebook/marketplace/ in your browser if you are 18 years of age and older and live in a marketplace region.
See Marketplace often enough and it will display on your desktop and iOS device in the shortcut menu.
Try logging out or reinstalling the Facebook app
If you meet all marketplace requirements but cannot still access the program, try logging out or delete the application.
If your account is new, use it often
Make sure you are as active as you can on the social media site while you are new to FB and have no MarketPlace access. So comment on posts, share images, add friends, and much more.
Change your region
You can also set your FB profile region to a country that is Settings > Language and Location if you are in a region that is not supported by the marketplace or recently moved.
