Facebook Marketplace Alternatives and Similar Apps – When it comes to decluttering your home and selling old items online, Craigslist is typically the first place that comes to mind.

And it’s not just the junk in your shed. Craigslist helps you to sell cars, rent apartments, and even post job openings.

But what if you’re looking for Craigslist alternatives because the site isn’t for you? Or, as in my recent experience selling a lot of things on Craigslist, because it wasn’t yielding any results? We find 20 Craigslist alternatives in this article where you can list and sell almost everything.

Alternatives to Craigslist

Facebook Marketplace is a website that allows you to sell

Facebook is used by over a billion people every month, and the Marketplace is rapidly becoming a place to sell everything from vehicles to clothing.

It also helps that Facebook Messenger is integrated into the Marketplace, so you don’t have to rely on email to communicate with potential buyers.

When it came to selling my recent belongings, Facebook marketplace – the pioneer of Craigslist alternatives – accounted for roughly half of my transactions.

OfferUp is a free service that allows you to

OfferUp is a smartphone app that allows you to sell and buy things in your neighborhood. It has rapidly ascended the ranks to become a trustworthy and non-sleazy sale website.

People spend about as much time on OfferUp as they do on Instagram and Snapchat, according to Business Insider.

This platform is one of the best, in my opinion, based on my recent selling experiences. I was able to sell a large number of products in a short period.

Enable it to go.

Letgo is a similar smartphone app to OfferUp in that it allows you to sell unwanted items around your home.

Unlike OfferUp, however, although Letgo is mainly a smartphone app, you can also use a desktop device to access their marketplace.

I considered the Letgo app to be clumsy, and after trying to list some things, I decided not to use it.

5th Close

Another perfect way to sell locally is via Close5 (formerly eBay Classifieds). Close5 has one disadvantage: according to their website, they are not currently available in every city in the United States.

In San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, LA, and Phoenix, Close5 is open.

Mercari Mercari is a mobile sale service that helps you to ship your goods rather than meeting up with people to deliver them.  Facebook Marketplace Alternatives and Similar Apps

No problem if you’re wary of linking up with people on the already-mentioned marketplaces! Mercari is on your side.

It’s simple to list something: simply take a picture with your phone, list it, and set a price.

The catch is that Mercari takes a 10% fee for anything you sell on their website.

Poshmark is an online marketplace where you can buy and sell

Poshmark is an easy and enjoyable way to buy and sell clothing. Many social media celebrities are known to use this site to sell their used designer pieces.

Poshmark, like Mercari, offers you the option of shipping the item rather than delivering it yourself.

Bookoo is a website where you can buy and sell

Bookoo is another classified website where users can advertise anything from furniture to event tickets.

ClassifiedAds.com is a website where you can find classified ads.

ClassifiedAds.com looks a lot like Craigslist, but with a lot more color.

It’s fast and free to put an ad to sell your products.

On the Oodle marketplace, you can sell cars and offer apartment rentals, pets, work, and services.

To list anything on Oodle, you’ll need to sign up for an account.

Recyclables

Recycler is similar to Oodle in that it focuses on assisting people with the selling of vehicles, pets, and real estate. It also makes it easier for people to post work openings.

Gumtree is a free classified ad website.

We didn’t forget about all of you in the United Kingdom. Although the majority of the sites mentioned above are located in the United States, Gumtree is designed specifically for UK sellers who want to list and sell their products.

Location can be found all over the United States. You may place a free ad from your desktop computer.

ADLANDPro is an ad agency that specializes in

Since 1998, ADLANDPro has provided free classified ads. There’s also a fair chance you’ll find your next apartment or work there.  Facebook Marketplace Alternatives and Similar Apps

Although it seems that ADLANDPro’s goal is to build a community for its users, their blog hasn’t been updated since 2016. Their forum area, on the other hand, appears to be very active.

Geebo is a free classifieds website that was created in 2000.

A fun fact: Geebo’s creator was so opposed to his website being used for sex trafficking that it removed its personals section before Craigslist did.

TODAY IN THE USA

Yeah, indeed! USA TODAY has a well-maintained, well-organized online classifieds website that is a perfect alternative to Craigslist.

From auctions to vehicles to market opportunities, they have it all.

advertisingglobe.com

Facebook Marketplace Alternatives and Similar Apps – Here’s yet another free forum where you can advertise items for sale. You can also use Adsglobe to post ads if you live in Canada, the United Kingdom, South Africa, or India.

City News Classifieds, Hoobly Classifieds, and 10dayads.com are several other free classifieds websites where you can post ads and sell products.

Trovit describes itself as a “real estate, work, and car search engine.” You can use their desktop edition or use it as a smartphone app.

It focuses solely on these three topics.

And what they do is clever: Trovit pulls the search results from other classifieds websites, so you don’t have to go to different websites to find what you’re searching for. Although you won’t be able to sell directly on the platform, your listing on another website will appear.

Trovit does offer a “premium ad” service for which you must pay to appear in their search results.

Trovit has a global presence in more than 50 countries! Vast.com, a related website, focuses on homes and vehicles.
