Additional setup is required
Make sure to update your page with new information about your business before writing your first article.
By choosing to Add a Button, you can add a call-to-action button to your business page. Select a course of action from the list of possibilities.
Visitors can schedule appointments, message you via Facebook Messenger, download your app, and more.
Choose a username for your page. The web address for your business page will be this username (for example, facebook.com/businessinsider).
Add upcoming events to your calendar.
Add any forthcoming public events to the Events section. Make it simple for your future fans to learn about your company’s upcoming activities.
Fans of your page can express their interest in your events by clicking a button indicating their willingness to attend.
Update all of the content you want to be public in the About section. Include your company’s website and, if appropriate, operation hours.
From this option, you can also provide staff members permission to edit your page.
Examine the many publishing tools available.
Facebook includes built-in scheduling capabilities that let you prepare and publish your posts according to your schedule.
These tools assist you in automating the process of updating your website. You can also keep draft versions of your articles here.
Creating a business page from a personal profile
If you’ve been using a personal Facebook profile for your business, you can use Facebook’s conversion process to convert it to a business page.
While it’s dubbed a conversion, the process replicates your profile to a page. Your profile will be preserved, and a new page will be generated based on it.
You can edit the newly formed page in the same way that you would a page that was built from scratch.

Visibility of the page
As soon as a Facebook page is created, it gets published. This means that as soon as a page is generated, it will be visible to the public.
You can change the visibility of your page in the page settings menu if you’d like to work on it privately before making it public.
This will keep the page from being seen until you’re ready to republish it. When you’re ready to publish it, remember to change the visibility setting.
