1. Federal Akure University of Technology (FUTA)

Former President Shehu Shagari established the university in 1981. The degree program runs for five years, with the exception of 6 years of architecture. It has seven schools, which are:

Universities of Technology in Nigeria – Lautech was named after Chief Ladoke Akintola, a former premier of the western region. It was created on 23 April 1990.

Lautech is jointly owned by the state governments of Oyo and Osun. It runs pre-graduate, undergraduate, and post-graduate programs in science.

Universities of Technology in Nigeria – This technology university was founded in 1980, making it Nigeria’s first technology university.

It was established in 1972 by the Rivers State College of Science and Technology.

9. Nigerian College of Technology Avaiation Zaria

Universities of Technology in Nigeria – This School of Aviation is based in Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria. It is owned by the civil aviation department of the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Avaiation.

It was founded in 1964 as the center of training for civil aviation in Nigeria.

There are approximately 26 training aircraft, consisting of 14 single TAMPICO TB9 engines, 5 single TRINIDAD TB20 aircraft, 3 Beech 58 twin engines and 1 TBM 850 aircraft for flight.

Aircraft maintenance, flight, air traffic control and aeronautical telecommunication courses are provided by the school.
