How to Check Your Glo Data Balance – Would you like to check your data balance for Glo, but don’t know how? We shared the current affordable data plans available to all new and existing Glo clients in our previous guide.
This guide will show you how to check the balance of your Glo data and the bonus data balance, if you have any bonuses. In the event you have forgotten, you will also know the expiry date or validity period of your current plan.
The grandmasters of data are considered to be Glo; obviously, that title is well-deserved.
Glo has been dishing out insanely cheap plans along with mouth-watering incentives over the last couple of months.
But often you need to check the data balance or bonus data balance that is available, just to keep track of the use of it.
There are three of these ways at the moment to verify how much of your internet subscription you’ve used online, through USSD, SMS.
You’ll get an explanation in this article on how to perform all three, depending on the one you find convenient and fast.
How do I check the Glo data balance on Android or any other smartphone using USSD?
The first move. On your Android phone, iPhone, iPad, Windows phone or whichever smartphone you use, dial *777# to verify your data balance using USSD.
You could do this with a modem as well.
Glo: Buying Data
2. From the choices you get from dialing *777#, pick ‘buy a plan’.
Glo: schedule management
3. Pick ‘manage schedules’ from the list of choices you have.
To get data balance, Dial 4
4. Enter the correct number for selecting “get balance” from the choices you have.
Email containing the balance of GLO data.
Alternatively, using your android computer or whatever mobile you use, dial *127*0#. It is the simplest and easiest way to use USSD to verify the Glo data balance.

How to verify the balance of Glo data using SMS
For example, let’s say you use a buttoned device and the # or * button doesn’t work, then you may be interested in using SMS to check what you have left.
Send the word ‘Details’ to 127 (without the quotes) to verify your Glo data balance using SMS, then wait for a few seconds.
You can get a message containing the amount of data you left and its expiry date if the network is not terrible at that moment.
How to verify online Glo data balance
The two options above work really well, but let’s say you’re currently browsing the web and you don’t want to minimize or close your window, or you just want to play around to make sure there’s actually a third option to do exactly the same function, so here you go:
Visit this link to open a self-care portal for Glo HSI (High Speed Internet) to check your data balance online, on your web browser or mobile phone browser.
What is left of your subscription will be automatically shown on the self-care page along with its validity date.
For web browsers, as you can see in the above picture, it is located on the right-hand side of the page.
How to verify the balance of your bonus data?
In recent times, along with the usual balance you see when you run either of the above operations, Glo provides incentives.
If you believe it’s not included, however, then you can use your smartphone to dial #122# to see all the benefits you have.
In most instances, using the USSD code shows whatever active incentives you have on your line.
But, as I said, whatever you have on your balance will be included in the *127*0# process.
Especially if you’re using Glo Yakata, which is the prepaid tariff that at this point in time reigns everywhere.
