She was born and raised in Mile 2 Estate, Amuwo Odofin, Festac, Lagos State, Nigeria, where she received her First School Leaving Certificate and completed her elementary school education. Mary Remmy Njoku attended Amuwo Odofin High School and Navy Town Secondary School, both in Lagos State, Nigeria, after completing her primary school education, and received her West African Senior School Certificate. In the late 2000s, Sheu entered the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and made her acting debut with Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha in the film “Home Sickness.” After acting in the Nollywood hit film “Blackberry Babes,” Mary Remmy Njoku rose to fame, a film that took her to the limelight and gave her a lot of advantage in Nollywood. Currently, Remmy Njoku is the CEO of Roc Nation, a film production company used to produce blockbuster films such as Husbands of Lagos, Desperate House Girls, Losing Control, and Cougars. She has produced and released many films as well.

Her wedding ceremony took place in Lagos, Nigeria at the Golden Tulip Hotel and was anchored as the ceremony master by Nollywood comic actor Charles Inojie.

Several movie and music industry players, such as Mercy Aigbe, Emem Isong, Oge Okoye, Mercy Johnson, 2Shotz, among many others, attended the wedding ceremony. About two years ago, the pair met and were engaged for the past six months before eventually settling on 18 August 2012.

With an estimated net worth of $500,000, Mary Remmy Njoku is one of the wealthiest and most successful actresses in Nigeria at the moment.
