Another popular option that already has some history behind it is Zoosk. It was one of the first apps that Facebook integrated way back in 2007. So, if it’s still around 13 years later, then it must be doing something right!
How to Set Yourself Up First
Zoosk made finding the right date online a lot more convenient, as there is a vast pool of potential matches and friends to meet. Upwards of 40 million members spread out over dozens of countries and languages also allow you to meet someone when you’re abroad. If you’re looking for a short-term relationship when you are on vacation, then it’s the perfect choice for you!
While Facebook has integrated many apps into the website over the years, you can still find and add Zoosk. When creating your Zoosk account, you can link it to your Facebook profile, after verification.
The account creation page allows you to sign up through Facebook, as long as you give it some additional permissions. Look at the example below:
Once you’re all linked up, you’ll be ready to mingle!
To access your own Zoosk Facebook page, all you need to do is navigate back to your profile and find the settings menu on the top right:
Following that, locate the “Apps and Websites” section. It will now appear on the left side of the screen.
Searching for People
If, however, your goal is to find someone else’s Zoosk profile on Facebook, that may be a bit more difficult. Not to worry, though, we’ll tell you how to do it.
Firstly, you will need to be friends with the person in question to continue. Depending on their privacy settings, you may not be able to view much on their profile, if anything at all. Some opt to show their profile picture and a few other pieces of information to people outside their friends’ circle.
Luckily, it is easier to check if a friend has a Zoosk profile linked to their Facebook page. This step also depends on the level of privacy they have set on their profile. That’s because some users don’t let even friends see the apps and websites they are linked to or using.
Assuming you can see their profile, you need to head down to the “More” section on their profile. It’s just below their cover picture. Then from the dropdown menu, click on the “Apps and Games” tab, which will take you to their connected apps page. Just like on your profile, you will be able to see any apps they’re using, including Zoosk.
You can also check this link as they might have their profile more accessible on the app’s official “Zooskers” group. It is a meeting spot for Zoosk’s long-time users and newcomers.
As Easy as a Trip to the Zoo-sk
And that wraps up our short guide on Zoosk profile-finding on Facebook. Dating apps and websites have shown us that finding like-minded individuals can be more comfortable online. That’s especially true for those who are a bit too shy to go looking for them out in the real world.
Have you any tips for us to add here? Do leave your thoughts in the comments; there’s no need to be shy. Good luck finding the right person out there.
