  • Using any device, access the Facebook platform. You can access the Facebook platform either by using its app or using the web URL.
  • Next, open your messages section. If you are using the Facebook messenger, you would be on your messages section the moment you launch the app.
  • Now open a conversation with the person you want to send the GIF.
  • Tap on the GIF button and wait. If you are using a mobile device or the Facebook messenger, you will have to click on the “More” or “Menu” icon before the text box first.
  • Select a GIF you want to use and tap on it.

That is it. It is as simple as that. You just sent a GIF using the Facebook GIF feature.

Comment with Facebook GIFs

Commenting is a general thing on the Facebook platform that refers to dropping your opinion on a post. To comment on Facebook posts using Facebook GIFs, follow the guidelines below.

  • Using any device, access the Facebook platform. You can access the Facebook platform either by using its app or using the web URL.
  • Find the post you want to comment on using a GIF and tap on the comment button. For some devices, you do not need to tap on the comment button as you will find the comment box below the post.
  • Tap on the GIF icon and wait. However, you might want to tap on a menu icon before the comment box if you are using a mobile device.
  • Select a GIF you want to comment with and tap on it.
  • Tap on the send icon and that is all. If you are using an enhanced device, you might not need to tap on the send icon first.
