3 Ways to Use Bitmoji on Facebook – This article is here to teach you how to add Bitmoji (personalized emoji characters) to your Facebook posts and comments.

3 Ways to Use Bitmoji on Facebook

1. Using an Android

1. Install the Bitmoji app. It’s available for free on the Google Play Store. Here’s how to do it:

  • Go to the Google Play Store. On the home screen or in the app drawer, it’s the white briefcase icon with a multicolored flag.
  • In the top-right search bar, type bitmoji, and then pick Bitmoji – Your Personal Emoji from the list of results.
  • Install should be chosen. The “Setup” button will move to “Open” once the app is installed.

2. Open Bitmoji. On the installation pad, tap Open, or in the app drawer, tap the green chat bubble with a winking smile.

3. Create an account. If you’ve already created an account with Bitmoji, tap Log In to enter your username and password. Otherwise, tap Sign Up With Email and build an account by following the on-screen instructions.
4. Create your character. Now’s your chance to be creative:
  • Tap the gender you want to be.
  • Your character may be Bitmoji or Bitstrips in design. Bitmoji characters have rounder faces and resemble cartoons rather than other characters. Bitstrips-style is more flexible and realistic in appearance.
  • Start by choosing a facial shape, then move on to the next level by tapping the arrow button. The preview of your character will change when you make choices. You’ll see a screen that says “Save & Select Outfit” after the final move.
  • To access the outfit screen, tap Save & Select Outfit. To save, tap the white circle with an arrow in the top-right corner of the screen, then tap the outfit of your choosing.
5. Enable the Bitmoji keyboard.
  • Open the Settings app on your Android device. In the app drawer, it’s the gray gear symbol.
  • Scroll down to Language and Input and tap it.
  • Under “Keyboard & input methods,” choose Current Keyboard.
  • Select Keyboards from the drop-down menu.
  • The “Bitmoji Keyboard” switch should be set to On (green).
  • Accept the security alert by tapping OK. You don’t have to be concerned about Bitmoji stealing your passwords. The keyboard has been set up.
6. Open Facebook. It’s the blue icon with a white “f” in the app drawer.
7. Add Bitmoji to a new post. Here’s how:
  • Make a new Facebook status update.
  • To open the keyboard, tap the text area.
  • At the bottom of the keyboard, tap and hold the globe button. A list of keyboards will appear in a pop-up window.
  • Choose Bitmoji Keyboard from the drop-down menu.
  • To add a Bitmoji to your message, tap it.

8. Add Bitmoji to a comment. It’s a little more difficult to do this than it is to add Bitmoji to a new post.

  • Launch the Bitmoji app (the green chat bubble icon with a winking face in the app drawer).
  • Choose a Bitmoji.
  • Save the file. It’s at the bottom of the list, at the bottom of the screen.
  • Go to the Facebook post you’d like to comment on.
  • Select your Bitmoji image by tapping the camera icon next to the comment box. Your Bitmoji will appear when you post your comment.
