1 Download the Airtel Thanks app. On Android phones, the Airtel Thanks (formerly MyAirtel) app is available in the Google Play Store, and on iPhones, it is available in the App Store. To get the Airtel app, follow the steps below.
  • Open the Google Play Store on Android, or the App Store on iPhone.
  • Tap Search (iPhone only).
  • Enter “Airtel Thanks” in the search bar.
  • Tap Install or GET next to the Airtel Thanks app.
2 Open the Airtel Thanks app. It has a red icon with a white brush-stroke logo below it and the words “Airtel” in white letters. To open the Airtel Thanks app, tap the icon on your home screen or in your app drawer.
3 Login to your Airtel account. Sign in to your Airtel account with your mobile number and password. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be prompted to enter your phone number and complete a form to create one.
4 Check your balance. Your data balance, daily limit, and number of days left in your current cycle are all displayed on the dashboard of the Airtel Thanks app.
Using USSD Codes to Check Your Airtel Data Balance
1 Open the phone app on your mobile device. It has a green icon that looks like an old phone. To open your phone app, tap the icon.
2 Dial *121# and press the call button. To make a call, dial the USSD code on the dial pad and then press the green button. A menu of options will appear.
If an offer appears before the menu appears, tap Ok to continue.
3 Enter 5 and tap Send. 5 is the menu option to check your balance. This displays more options to check your balance.
4 Enter 1 and tap Send. This displays your data balance.

  • To skip the menu, dial “*121*51#

Using Prepaid Data On The Airtel Website

1 Go to http://www.airtel.in/ in a web browser. You can use the Airtel website to check your data balance.
2 Click the icon that resembles a person. It’s in the upper-right corner of the website. This opens the login page.
