Is it difficult for your Android smartphone to connect to Bluetooth devices?

Before you start asking what happened to your headphones or speakers, check out some of your phone’s easy repairs.

Also, ensure sure your Bluetooth device’s battery is charged. We’ve put together a list of five ways to solve Bluetooth not working on Android, plus a bonus tip.

Fix Bluetooth Not Working on Android Issue

1. Restart Your Phone

To begin, turn off Bluetooth and then turn it back on after a few seconds if you are having trouble connecting Bluetooth devices to your Android. If this doesn’t work, restart your phone, as this will resolve the issue caused by memory or other app.

2. Forget Device and Pair

If a Bluetooth device was previously connected to your phone but is no longer connecting, you should remove it from your phone and pair it again. This removes the gadget from the memory of your smartphone.

1: Select Connected devices from the Settings menu.

2: Tap the gear icon next to the Bluetooth device name to enter the Device information page, then look under Previously Connected Devices.

3: On the confirmation pop-up, hit the delete icon and choose Forget Device.

To re-pair the device, go back to the Bluetooth settings page and tap ‘Pair new device.’ Also, make sure the device is in pairing mode.

3. Check Bluetooth Device Details

Because you may not have given that device authorization, associated Bluetooth devices sometimes didn’t have the ability to play audio or make calls. Go to Connected devices and tap the gear icon next to it to see the device’s details. You can see if the device is permitted to connect for audio, calls, and other purposes.

You can also try resetting your other Bluetooth device, since this could be the source of the problem. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds, or press and hold the power and volume buttons simultaneously in some devices, to reset Bluetooth devices.

4. Reset Bluetooth Settings

If your Android smartphone still won’t connect to Bluetooth devices after trying the above-mentioned solutions, you can try resetting its WiFi, mobile, and Bluetooth settings.

1: Go to Settings -> System and select Advanced from the drop-down menu.

2: Tap Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile, and Bluetooth after selecting Reset choices.

3: When prompted, tap the Reset settings option underneath and enter your phone’s PIN.

Your smartphone will then be cleared of any linked devices and other connections. The Bluetooth can then be connected again.

5. Update Your Smartphone

It’s possible that updating your smartphone will fix all of the faults and glitches, including the Bluetooth not working issue. To update your system, go to Settings->System->System Update. Download and install any software updates that are available.

Bonus Tip

When pairing your phone with another Bluetooth device, keep the distance between the two devices between 5 and 10 meters. This is the Bluetooth connection range that is recommended.

These methods can be used to resolve the Bluetooth not working on Android problem. There could be hardware damage if you still can’t connect your phone to other Bluetooth devices. After that, you should take your phone to a service center to have it mended.
