Best small phones to buy in 2021.
Big-screen phones, such as the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, provide a lot of advantages: Those larger bodies frequently contain top-of-the-line specifications and superb cameras. However, there is no escaping their enormous size. With a 6.7-inch display, the 12 Pro Max is difficult to fit into tight pants pockets, and operating it with one hand is nearly impossible for someone with hands the size of continents.
Over the years, phone sizes have progressively expanded, with 6-inch or larger phones now becoming the standard. Sure, it’s wonderful for watching videos or playing games while on the go, but what if you don’t care about screen size and simply want a great phone that fits in your hand?
With the latest tech news, gadgets, and reviews, you can spice up your small chat. On weekdays, deliveries are made. I’m afraid your options are restricted, but there are still some phones to consider. However, everyone’s perception of “small” is different, and what you consider to be a comfortable size for you may be too big for someone else. With that in mind, I’ll be adding phones with screens of 6 inches or less, but if you’re concerned about the size, it’s worth testing out a phone at your local store (don’t forget to bring hand sanitizer!).

Google Pixel 5
The Pixel 5 is on the larger end of this list at 6 inches, but the tiny bezel around its screen makes it feel surprisingly compact in the hand. It’s a lot more pocket-friendly than the S21 Ultra’s massive 6.8-inch screen. In our review, we were thrilled by Google’s current flagship, which features a superb camera setup, 5G, and a fast and fluid UX.
iPhone 12 Mini
The iPhone 12 Mini is one of the only compact phones that does not require you to sacrifice power or performance. It has the same A14 Bionic chipset as the other 12 series phones, as well as the dual rear-camera arrangement as the normal iPhone 12. (albeit lacking the triple setup of the 12 Pro models). It’s a fantastic all-around phone, and with a screen size of only 5.4 inches, it’s one of the greatest tiny phones available.
Google Pixel 4A
When it was released in 2020, we enjoyed the Pixel 4A’s blend of good overall performance and inexpensive pricing. It has a 5.8-inch screen, which is on the smaller side of today’s phones. However, it lacks 5G, which could be a concern if you want to take advantage of the super-fast data speeds that everyone is raving about.
So, you’re going to get the 4A 5G, right? Not so fast, my friend. When Google added 5G to its most affordable phone, it also increased the screen size to 6.2 inches, while the Pixel 5A has a 6.34-inch display. Boo and hiss are two words that come to mind when I think about booing and hissing.
iPhone SE (2020)
Sony Xperia 5 II
This phone, at 6.1 inches, is technically larger than the 6-inch limit I set for this article. But before you go on Twitter and call me a clown, listen to me out. The phone’s aspect ratio is 21:9, which means it’s much longer than it is wide. It’s actually narrower than the Pixel 4A stated above, at only 68mm (2.68 inches), making it as easy to hold as any other compact phone.
It’s also jam-packed with cutting-edge technology, including a fantastic camera system and 5G connection (although 5G is only supported on Xperia 5 II phones sold outside of the US). The screen is lovely, and the aspect ratio is ideal for widescreen movies. If you want a more hand-friendly phone but still want to watch videos on the go, this could be a good compromise.
