All NEW Glo network customers will receive the previous data volume, now referred to as “double data volume.”
Existing/OLD customers who renew their subscriptions will receive double data amount.
However, consumers who do not renew their subscriptions within three days of their data plan expiration will forfeit the double data volume but will receive HALF the data volume for the SAME PRICE.

DATA BOOST: If You Run Out of Data Prior to Your Expiration Date OR Just Want To Upgrade Your Existing Data Plan, You Can Do So By Dialing *777# and Choosing “Buy Extra Data.” There are two options: 300 MB for ₦200 or 1 GB for ₦1,000. The latter is only available to customers with a 1 GB contract or higher.

The preceding data plan table applies to both 3G and 4G LTE devices. Previously, customers of 4G LTE phones had their own exclusive data plan packages, but Glo recently combined them into a single data plan.

Glo Flexi Plans

The Flexi plan, as the name implies is suitable for customers who require a specific flexibility.

Glo Campus Data Booster

The Glo Campus Data Booster is a student favorite because it provides exceptional value for money. This program provides consumers with ten times the value of their data subscription at NO Extra Expense while they are on campus.

Non-students can also take advantage of the deal; all they have to do is be on campus. Additionally, customers will receive complimentary “on-net” chat time with other Glo customers and complementary data to gift to friends.

The service is available on all campuses around the country, including those for Customs, Immigration, and Police training.

A regular data plan will not double your data on campus; you must buy a campus data booster plan.

Campus Data cannot be “shared,” but they can be “gifted.”

The unused portion of a campus data booster subscription CANNOT be carried on to the subsequent subscription.

Within the Campus booster zone, the campus booster plan operates normally.

Glo Data Plan For Blackberry 10

Glo discontinued support to Blackberry phones running BB OS 7 and lower on December 17, 2016. They did, however, stick to Blackberry 10 and higher devices.

Customers with data remaining on their BlackBerry OS 7 devices were urged to upgrade to a BlackBerry 10 or higher device in order to continue using their data. All Glo data packs, including the BB Total, Absolute, and BIS plans, have been discontinued.

As with Android, iOS, and Windows users, Glo has developed a single data plan for BlackBerry 10 devices, which means that the same data plan covers 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE.

However, there are a few EXCEPTIONS to the BB 10 scheme, including the fact that BB 10 plans are NOT transferable or giftable.

The three-day grace period listed previously also applies to the BB 10 plans. Customers who buy or upgrade their BlackBerry 10 data plan within three days of expiration or exhaustion will obtain twice the data volume (100 percent); otherwise, their next data value will be split in half.

How Do I Check My Glo Data Balance?

To Check Your Glo data balance across all devices, dial *127*0# OR SMS “INFO” to 127. An alert would be sent to you stating how much of your data is left as well as the due date for auto-renewal.

Glo’s new flagship product to its consumers is 4G LTE – “Long Term Evolution.” Until 3G, it is the world’s most advanced wireless data technology. 4G LTE users can download 1 GB of data in minutes and a 3 MB audio file in seconds.

To become a beneficiary of this cutting-edge technological advancement, simply follow the steps below:

• Purchase a new Glo LTE sim card at any Gloworld location near you. OR, if you are an existing Glo user, you can exchange your new sim card.
• Purchase a smartphone with 4G capability. The network is currently supported by the iPhone SE and higher models, the BlackBerry DTEK 50, the BlackBerry Priv STV100-4, the HTC One M9+, the Microsoft Lumia 950, the Samsung Galaxy S7 (also Duos and Edge), and the Alcatel One Touch Pop 4 LTE.
• To determine if your current computer supports Glo 4G LTE, send the text 4G to 400.
• Ascertain that your current position is covered by LTE.
• Glo 4G LTE is now accessible in Lagos, Ogun, Rivers State, Delta, Edo, Eket, Kaduna, and Adamawa (ABTI University), among other places. Glo is working to expand its coverage to the entire country.

How To Borrow Data From Glo

Are you out of data or broke but need immediate access to the internet? When a customer’s package is depleted, the Glo Borrow Me Data Service enables them to request (borrow) data.

On your subsequent recharge, a 15% transaction fee will be applied. For instance, if you purchased 500 MB of data, your next recharge will cost 575 MB. The charge is applied three days/seventy-two hours after you trigger the Borrow Me Data service.

The customer must have been a loyal Glo subscriber for at least five months to be able to use the service.

Customers will pay for the service using ME2U airtime.

Glo Share Data service allows customers to share a single data plan with family and friends.

• First Add/Register Friends To Your Share Account By dialling *127*01*[friend’s number]# OR, SMS “Share [friend’s number]” to 127.
• Those you Share Data With Will Be Notified via SMS and automatically be connected to the internet.
• To Remove a number from your share list, Dial *127*02*[friend’s number]# OR SMS Remove [friend’s number]” to 127.
• To view a list of those you are sharing your data with, dial *127*00# or Send “List” to 127.

How To Gift Data To Friends & Family

The Glo “Gift” service allows you to buy a data bundle and gift them to loved ones. Customers who do not want to “share” their data often opt for this service.
