Are you a subscriber to MTN Pulse? Here is a browsing opportunity from MTN that allows you to search effortlessly during the night for a small fee. This post is continually updated to reflect the most recent MTN night browsing package rates.

In comparison to other midnight data plans available in Nigeria, you’ll get 500MB for N50 and 250MB for N25 from MTN. Night browsing plans (which do not include 500MB for 25 Naira) are far too generous!

Airtel is the only network that has previously competed with MTN Night Plan. There is no point in ditching 9Mobile’s night plan in favor of the current MTN night plan. On the other hand, Glo’s costly 1GB for N200 night browsing kit came nowhere near. Now that MTN has changed their plan, I will gladly refer to Airtel as the king of the nights!!

You can read this article about the cheapest Airtel data plans in Nigeria; it contains all the information you need to know about their data plans if you decide to go with the Airtel midnight browsing plan.

MTN Night Plan (Code) — How to activate MTN Night Browsing on Pulse

MTN Night Plans come in two flavors: 500MB for N50 and 250MB for N25!

This step-by-step guide will demonstrate how to allow any of the MTN Night Plans for midnight browsing. Let us begin…

Step 1: Ascertain that you are subscribed to the MTN Pulse tariff package. To migrate, enter *123# » Type 2 to select Tariff Plan Migration » to select Pulse Type 1 users will be migrated to MTN Pulse.

Step 2: Recharge your phone with N25 or N50 airtime, depending on your schedule, and then trigger it using one of the methods mentioned below.

  • Dial *406# and navigate to the Pulse Nightlife package menu to pick your favorite bundle plan.
  • NT1 to 131 to receive a 250MB Pulse Nightlife pack.
  • NT2 to 131 to receive a 500MB Pulse Nightlife pack.

Step 3: After receiving a success SMS notification. Open your browser and start surfing.

Important details you should note:

  • This plan is only available between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. and has a storage limit of 250MB for N25 and 500MB for N50. Additionally, this plan can be used several times and is compatible with all devices.
  • You may subscribe to 250MB Pulse Nightlife bundles several times but not more than 500MB in a single day. However, you may subscribe to 250MB Pulse Nightlife bundles ONLY ONCE.
  • For instance, you can trigger the 250MB Pulse Nightlife package twice (25MB plus 250MB equals 500MB).
  • You would NOT be able to carry over the balance of an unused Pulse Nightlife pack. After 5 a.m., all unused Pulse Nightlife package balances will be cleared.

How To Check MTN Night Data Balance

Previously, the MTN Nightlife package balance could not be verified. However, MTN recently released a working USSD code that enables you to verify your remaining data balance and keep track of your data consumption.

To check the balance of your Pulse Nightlife kit, dial *559*96#.

If this code does not work, you must use a clever trick as described in that article (check link) below.

MTN will give you messages at regular intervals as you gradually increase your use of the night plan.
