The Best Apps for Kids that Don’t Require Wifi

The Best Apps for Kids that Don’t Require Wifi – Today, I’m thrilled to share a comprehensive list of the greatest applications for kids that don’t require internet access or data!

Here are the ones that ended up being our favorites (but I’ve included a list of all of your suggestions at the bottom of the post). The Best Apps for Kids that Don’t Require Wifi

  1. [Free trial, then $11.99 per month] This is a fantastic software for downloading YouTube videos to your phone. Fos is now obsessed with Art For Kids Hub videos, so I downloaded six or seven of them for him to draw on the plane before we left. Then I deleted them and downloaded a slew of new ones for the return flight.

2. [FREE – to log in, you’ll need a premium Netflix account]. This is a fantastic app to have when traveling if you already have a Netflix account. You can download episodes directly to your phone and watch them without having to wait for them to stream.

3. [$2] Stack the States .99] This one was a huge hit with us. It features state trivia, and as you get the right answer, the state falls down onto a platform, and you have to stack them up to reach a predetermined line. Some of the states are difficult to balance, resulting in your stack collapsing. I played it as well and had a great time. The Best Apps for Kids that Don’t Require Wifi

4. Tozzle is a $3.99 game. This is a fantastic drag-and-drop puzzle game for toddlers and young children. I also appreciate the fact that it comes with a parental lock.

5. Tozzle Words is a $1.99 book. This is an excellent game for children who are learning to spell. It uses the same drag-and-drop functionality as Tozzle. My only criticism is that there doesn’t seems to be any form of direction that informs you what you should do. It provides you a few hints as to where you should click, but I couldn’t get the train to travel where it was supposed to go or the animals to do what they were intended to do. It is, nevertheless, both educative and entertaining. The Best Apps for Kids that Don’t Require Wifi

6. [FREE] Quick Math Jr. Early learners will enjoy this one. You acquire parts to design your own monster using simple math and counting.

7. [FREE] Sudoku My almost-eight-year-old has recently become obsessed with Sudoku, so I purchased this app just before we went. It was actually played by my husband while the kids were watching a movie, so it’s appropriate for all ages.

8. [FREE] Duck Duck Moose TRUCKS San is now crazy with trucks, so this was an excellent app for him. It’s simple, but you can tap the various trucks to make them splash in the mud, then wash them, pick up waste and recycling, or scoop and dump soil with a dump truck and digger. During our flights, he spent a significant amount of time using this app. Duck Duck Moose also has a number of free truck, automobile, and vehicle apps. They’re suitable for children aged 2 to 4.
