Career beginnings

Flavour debuted on the Nigerian music industry as a drummer and pianist for a local Enugu band at the age of 19. Flavour received an offer to perform at City Centre, Enugu, after learning to play the drums professionally. The large throng in City Centre motivated him to break new ground and achieve new heights. Flavour’s musical education allowed him to study music production from Dekumzy, Isi Charles, and Nnachie.

2005: N’abania

Flavour’s debut album, N’abania, was published through Obaino Music in 2005. The album’s popularity was limited to Eastern Nigeria, specifically Enugu State. On the album’s lead track, “N’abania,” Flavour worked with Mr Raw. The song was recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, at Kingsley Ogoro’s music studio.

2010: Uplifted

Flavour released Uplifted in 2010 after the relative success of his debut album. Flavour was confident that the album will outperform his prior efforts while working on it. When the album broke over national barriers, Flavour’s prediction came true. Following overwhelming demand, Lolhiphop Records, a well-known South African record label, published the album. “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix),” “Adamma,” and “was a good singer when he was tiny Oyi Remix” starring Tiwa Savage are among the album’s best singles.

2012: Blessed

Blessed was published by 2nite Entertainment and iROCKING LTD on October 18, 2012. The album is a follow-up to Uplifted. Due to the quantity of producers who worked on it, it is perhaps Flavour’s largest album to date. It debuted on the same day as the grand opening of Flavour’s 2nite Club. Flavour said in an interview with iROKTV: “I believe I’m progressing. This is the third album I’ve released… Now, as I define myself, it’s time to give them the music. In terms of music, words, and instrumentation, I need to mature. I collaborated with a large number of producers, and the entire production process made sense to me.”
