Why can’t I change the birthdate on Facebook?

Why can’t I change the birthdate on Facebook- You can’t update your date of birth on Facebook for a variety of reasons. Facebook takes it very seriously in order to keep bogus persons off its network.

As a result, the birthdate plays a significant role in this section. Facebook collects the most sensitive information and asks users to authenticate their profiles using that date.

If this happens to you, having your precise date of birth saved on your Facebook profile will allow you to open it if it is barred for whatever reason.

Many times, Facebook has locked my page to ask for verification, and anytime I input my date of birth, my profile is promptly opened. All of the changes that occurred during the session are removed from the profile, making it safer than it was previously.

That is why Facebook has a restriction on when you can set your date of birth so that you don’t forget your original and what you set is accurate. Also, changing your date of birth on a regular basis is not necessary, and it is more likely that this is a phony profile.

So, if you haven’t changed your date of birth more than three times and haven’t received an error notice like “contact to Facebook,” you are qualified to modify your date of birth after a set length of time. You must wait at least 14 days for the edit area of your Facebook profile to appear before you may modify your date of birth.

What should I do if I can’t change my date of birth on Facebook?

If the limit has been reached, I would not advise you to sit back and relax. Rather, contact Facebook to inform them of your recent changes and to allow you to make changes between the dates you previously updated.

If you are concerned that your friends will be told of your incorrect birthday in an emergency, you can set the date of birth privacy to ‘Only Me,’ which will prevent Facebook from sending a false birthday warning to your friends.

So, if you’re looking for a way to stop Facebook from showing you the incorrect birthday notification, this is what you can do. I’m hoping that the settings will help you out by temporarily hiding your birthdate.

Once you’ve restored your date of birth to its original state, you may select whether or not to share it with your friends.

After the first update, I have to wait at least 2 weeks for the edit option to show on Facebook to modify my date of birth. If your it section is temporarily locked, it’s best to wait until then if you don’t want to modify your Facebook profile’s age on the spur of the mom ent.

If the two-week time does not expire, you will not see the edit area on Facebook lite or the Facebook app. You will not view the edit part on Facebook.com if the two-week period does not expire.

What I mean to say, in short:
1. Wait for at least for 14 days to pass.
2. Contact to Facebook if they can allow you to edit your date of birth.
3. If you have not crossed your three times of limit, don’t contact Facebook rather wait for the time period to pass and your edit section will be visible again for your Facebook profile.
How to change age on Facebook profile after limit exceeds?

If you’ve reached the maximum number of changes to your Facebook profile’s date of birth, you’ll see that it’s no longer editable to add new information, as per Facebook rules.

In that situation, there are a few simple measures you can do to modify your date of birth back to the original, and this will be the permanent configuration as it is on the true information.

Once the time limit has been reached, a line will appear with the opportunity to contact us. Simply click the ‘contact us’ link, which will open in a new window where you must enter your information, such as a document proving your age, and you will be all set.

The steps are as follows:

Simply click on the Facebook profile tab.

From there, select ‘Contact and basic information’ from the drop-down menu.

To notify Facebook of your true date of birth, select the legal option of “contact us.” Now, on that form, you must enter any documents that you want to use as proof of your age, as well as your date of birth, and then click ‘Submit.’

A Facebook representative will now contact you via your registered email address to inform you of the most recent modification to your account.

If everything is in order and authorized, your date of birth will be updated to the one you provided in the document you sent.

So, be patient; if the link is unavailable in some circumstances, simply wait a few days and everything will be back to normal.
Finally, I recommend that you wait at least 14 days before taking any action. Your edit section will be restored after 14 days, and you will be allowed to update your birthdate up to three times on your profile. If you’ve gone over the time limit set by Facebook, you’ll need to contact them directly through the Support mailbox to alter your birthdate, and you’ll need to submit proof.
