How to Turn Off All Game Requests and App Notifications.
Why don’t I show you how to swiftly and effectively block all those pesky Facebook game requests?
This method can also be used to disable app notifications. I hope you find this information helpful.
Many people enjoy playing video games and using Facebook apps, but many more would prefer to give up their thumb.
If you’re in the latter group, you’re probably not overjoyed when a brand new game or app invitation appears in your Facebook notifications.
Today is your lucky day, though, because there is a way (a simple technique) to permanently stop all Facebook game and app invitations!
Let’s get started:
Please keep in mind that the procedures outlined below will disable Facebook notifications for ALL games and apps (there are no exceptions).
As a result, you must be quite certain that you want to do this before proceeding (it’s a major decision, hehe).
Let’s get started if you’re ready…
Step 1: Log into your Facebook account and go to the upper right corner of the page to the arrow-shaped settings icon.
step 2 – Select the Settings option from the drop-down menu.
step 3 – In the left-hand column, click the Apps link.
step 4 – Navigate to the Game and App Notifications section and select the Edit button.
step 5 – Select the Turn Off option.
That is all there is to it. Tell me that wasn’t a lot easier than you anticipated? Please tell me.
As a result, no more game or app invitations will be sent to you. It’s not the end of the world; you may change your mind at any time and turn on “App and Game Notifications” by simply reversing the decision you made in step 5.
NB: Disabling “Game and App Notifications” does not prevent you from playing games and applications (as I should have stated at the outset). However, there you have it.) Disabling the stop will simply prevent you from hearing those annoying beeps.
I recall a time when this option was unavailable. The only option to avoid gaming requests was to turn off the Apps Platform completely (which was not ideal). You were unable to use any games or apps as a result). Let’s give Facebook credit for this new, more user-friendly method of managing game requests and app notifications.
