How to make an avatar for Facebook – Last week, Facebook released a new way to create a picture of yourself in a cartoon. It’s called Avatars, and it’s similar to Bitmoji from Snap or Animoji from Apple. And the setup only takes about 10 minutes.

There are millions of different customizations available so that your avatar, only in cartoon form, can look like you do in real life. You can use the Avatar version of yourself as a sticker in Facebook comments, stories, and messages once it’s set up.

Here’s how to set up Avatars for Facebook:

  • Tap the button with three lines in the bottom right corner and navigate to “See More.” Select “Avatars.”
  • Follow the prompts. It asks for the tone of your skin, hairstyle, and other style characteristics.
  • If you have trouble finding all the options, try tapping on the bar above the options and underneath your progressing avatar.
  • You can select, among other customizations, eye shape, eyebrows, nose shape, body shape, and your outfit.
